Flowers and Wellness
Journal Entry 2.26.18
Almost always, flowers make women better. A woman receives flowers and she is happier. A woman treats herself to flowers, and this self-care action is a probable instant mood booster, attitude adjustment or the perfect pick-me-up. Many women of today’s world are often on the go, rushing to and from meetings, racing to meet deadlines and making efforts to include time for family, friends and a social life in the mix of it all.
Flowers radiate happiness and exude love. Including flowers in your personal space is a fulfilling practice of contentment that contributes to your personal wellness. With many distractions from buzzing cell phone notifications, a flooded inbox of emails, and the never-ending social media scrolling, take time and manifest the beauty of slow living through the joy that flowers bring. While every moment of every day cannot possibly be relaxed and leisurely, optimum emotional, physical, and mental wellbeing can begin with cultivating a pleasure of flower appreciation. A beautiful floral composition can even add a touch of whimsy and elegance, refreshing to any room. There is so much power in what we practice. And because we absorb what takes places around us, nurture yourself first with beautiful hues, textured petals, and delicate blossoming flowers.
Make a promise to invest in your wellness like your life depends on it. And a good start here is with fragrant, fresh blooms. You deserve a continual state of excellent personal wellbeing. You deserve flowers.
