Being a BAUS Bride
Journal Entry 2.12.18
Being a bride, while handling all of your other responsibilities, can be completely overwhelming. From picking a magical venue to dealing with your ever-changing guest list, it can drive any future bride up a wall. Having the wedding of your dreams can seem like an unachievable feat considering how big your to-do list is, however, it will get done.
A BAUS Bride is someone who effectively manages all the responsibilities of her daily life along with the demands of wedding planning. How do you do it? Stay informed, be prepared and expect for everything to require tweaking or re-assessing at some point throughout the process.
If you aren’t aware, then you cannot properly prep for one of the biggest moments of your life. Don’t hesitate to read articles in bridal magazines, analyze blog posts from someone who has been in your heels before. Even partner up with your friends and family that have planned weddings and get their insight. Figure out your needs, wants, budget and begin the process from that point. That will mean being as organized as possible, considering alternatives, getting the help you need from the professionals, and sticking to your guns while remaining flexible to ensure the big day happens without any major glitches. It's not about having the perfect wedding for others. It's about having the most memorable union for you and your spouse-to-be. Remember, even when it gets frustrating never lose sight of the end result. On your wedding day, you’ll be the most adorned, beautiful person walking down the aisle despite the challenges faced along the journey. Not only will it be worth it, but it’ll be a BAUS bride experience.
